So although I haven't announced it on my blog, everyone else in the Social Media interwebs know, Monster is going to be a BIG SISTER! We know that everything is going good and that the baby is healthy! Almost immediately after finding out I hopped on to twitter and wanted to try Be Nice Prenatal Vitamins. These arn't your normal pill vitamins, which for me and highly sensative gag reflex, and a large dose of vitamins at once has been known to cause me to well.... loose whatever I just ate. :-( Be Nice is different! They are a yummy "pixie stick" drink mix in lemonade and berry flavor, that tastes more like Crystal Light than Vitamins! They have Dha and folic acid in them, and are all you need to take while pregnant and while you are Nursing! Be Nice, has been nice enough to give away a box of sticks to 2 of my followers!

Gone to Soon
This Post is a hard one for me, but yet kind of odd. I found out Sat. That one of DH's friends growing up was killed in a motorcycle accident on Friday. He has a daughter that is a few months older than Monster. I could not imagine the pain of loosing my daughter's father. I would be absolutely alone, we would be alone. This has got to be one of the scariest times in his girl friends life, my heart cries for their family. For their little girl, who is just old enough to remember her Daddy, but those memories will fade, and be foggy. For his Love, as she is now alone in this world as a single parent raising their child. I have only met him a few times, and do not know him all that well, but I would not wish this experience on Anyone what so ever. I am positive that she has tons of support from his family, but I am always scared that I too will get that horrible call that He is not coming home. I pray for their family, that God will ease the pain and let the grieving be easy. Although we do not understand why God does things in His timing I do understand that there is always a reason, and that He doesn't put us through anything that we can't be stronger in the end.

Monster's Thoughts about Today.....
mseeeeeeeeeed v ghflfcn mjb766666669-0-pf vt vsd x nu6dx
This is what happens when you step away from your computer and you have a Monster in your house, she writes your post for you! In all actuality, today was a good day. We went to breakfast with my Dad, and went shopping at my favorite consignment shop, planted a few plants, fed the fish in our new pond, took a nap, played outside for a while with our new "blows" (pin-wheels) and sidewalk chalk, and had dinner by 5:30. Today was a lot more restful than the last few nights, I took a nap with Monster, which was badly needed after out past few sleepless nights. However, my struggles with sleep are a completely different post, probably a very near post but not for today. Today was a good day.

Cloth Diapers Day 1:
So I have been part time Cloth Diapering Monster for a while now, and after I won a $100.00 gift cert. from Twitter a few weeks ago, I finally have enough diapers to go full time. So this weekend we went for the gusto! No more Sposies! The biggest hang up I thought we would have is her baby sitter. Well, today was day one, and she said it went great! She was worried that we might have a blow-out, but thankfully it was just as easy as sposies...Imagine that! I am continuing to hope that this goes well for her, and that I can keep up the momentum with having to do her laundry every night until I can build up my stash a little bit better, but I am not going to turn around now! My biggest regret is not doing enough research before Monster was born, if I had, I have a feeling we would have been using cloth all along!

Hello!
This is my first Post, I am not sure exactly where this new world of Blogging is going to take me, but I am going to try it out and see how it goes! A little about me: I am Married to Mike ( for 2 1/2 yrs), and Mommy to Lillie (also known as Monster) who is 21 months old. We are extended breastfeeding, cloth diapering, baby wearing AP parents. I would like to be able to do reviews one day on eco friendly products! You can follow my daily life on twitter @LaurenDJohnson, and see what I have to say!
